You're gonna have to pull the entire rear cargo area side cover. Get a set of interior trim pry bars. There's a couple of screws to remove.

So is there any way to get the Sirius Chanel label to show on the preset button? I can remember 7 for 70’s and 6 for 60’s, but past that you have to have the guide out??

20 is the Boss and 122 is NPR. HTH. :)

(Hey, wait a minute, mine doesn’t even display the XM icon! How did you get it to do that?)

The xm logo has always been there. It’s the channel number that I’m trying to get to show. I don’t listen to them enough to remember all the genres but when I want to, I have to keep pressing until I find the right one.

No idea. Mines always showed the logo. Is there a way to get the Chanel ID to show on the preset button?

Just mentioning this because some may not know...but if you pay a bit extra, you can can all your Sirius channels on you cell phone or tablet...AND...it comes with WAY more bells and whistles.

For example...you can jump forward...jump back...and if you’re a news junky like me...many stations let you jump all the way back to shows from earlier in the day which then let you automatically skip commercials just like a DVR.

So nice when in cell coverage.

Anyway... It certainly names your favorites...and on cellular, even tells you what’s currently playing on each favorite at the moment without having to go to it.

Highly recommended.

Hello 200 knowledge base,

My 08 is not lighting the interior lights when any of the doors open. Have checked the posts an am not finding a solution. All the regular door functions work when a door is open like the notice on the info screen.
The lights all work - Ive read where theres a master swith on the dash but Im not finding one on ours.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not sure about the ‘08, but check for a master button on the overhead console and switches on individual lights.

HI Sandroad - thanks for lead. Tried just about everything possible with the overhead switches. There is a master on/off up there but it just turns the lights on regardless of what the doors are doing.

If there's a master switch on the dash it's even better hidden then the TPMS reset switch.

Thanks again!

Hit the button up there marked "DOOR", not "ON/OFF". The former determines whether the lights come on when a door is opened. The latter just turns them on or off when the doors are closed.

Bingo on the door deactivate button.

Honestly though... those buttons are really poorly designed IMO. I have the same 08...and it’s almost humous that the buttons thry didn’t backlight...are the ones you ONLY reach for in the DARK. Also...there is no separation between them...and they don’t move very far. So it’s too easy to push the wrong one...or not realize the door one is pushed.

Oh well. But it does seem odd they chose those tiny buttons to have neither backlight nor separation.

Hi LG,
Thanks for the tip. When the door button is pressed the lights just come on.

I’d say I have an issue with one of the door sensors being open but it wouldn’t let me set the alarm/etc. if one were bad.

Any other thoughts are welcome...

Thanks again.

It’s supposed to come on when you deactivate the door button. If they came on when you pressed the button labeled “door” then it’s likely working. -Just not as you might expect. Do it again, only this time, Try starting the engine with the door closed and see if the lights turn off upon start. If they do...then it’s working as designed.

They are supposed to come on if you just got in the truck and stay on briefly (even after closing the door) until you start the truck...(assuming the door button is not preventing the lights from coming on with entry).

The door button doesn’t change that above programmed sequence. All the door button does is disconnect power to the lights regardless of other factors like entry, pre-start lighting, etc.

Need to buy 4 "standard" lug nuts (the ones with the captured washer for the original wheels). Stopped at a dealer today to pick up a few parts, they want $17.35. Yes, that's FOR EACH.

Anybody found an aftermarket source that is decent quality? I'm just trying to ditch those stupid wheel locks.
