I believe it has been recommended elsewhere on mud that the dealer will sell you a small touch up pen based on your paint code. It's around $20 iirc.

Yeah, only get it from the dealer. Give them your VIN and you’ll be good to go.

Depending on the size of the chip in the paint, the little brush that comes with it may make it tough to apply it neatly, so I’ve had good luck using the tip of a toothpick to be a little more precise with the application. Makes it easier to fill the crater without going over the edges of the chip.

Alright, this is pissing me off, and I can't figure out how to get it to stop.

If I leave the headlight stalk switch in "Auto", when I shut the truck off and open the door, I get an annoying "beeeeeeeeeep" noise, like "hey you left your headlights on dummy". If I ignore it and get out and walk away, when I come back to the truck many minutes later the headlights are still on. Like, it's gonna kill the battery. The only way I can get it to stop is flip the switch all the way down to "Off", then back up to "Auto" again.

I have my DRL disabled, if that matters. Does it?
Have you tried disconnecting the battery at both terminals for a good 5-10 min? Its for sure a hail Mary attempt but Ive been dealing with the Check TPMS light coming on randomly for the last month even while the sensors are indeed 100% ok. A few days ago while getting gas, again as a hail Mary, I decided to disconnect both terminals just to see what would happen and the problem has resolved itself. Sometimes it just needs a hard reset

So .. does anyone know where this piece goes?
Passenger seat, left side, will need to unbolt seat to snap back on.

Does anyone know of a cover, or some other protective device to put over the plug for sensors? If say, one were to disconnect the rear parking sensors, how would I protect this, from the elements, being that its still outside?

I think that's a 6-PIN Sumitomo. You could get a cheap eBay set and silicone the male side of the plug.

I had that exact connector open and exposed for a couple of months, while I was working with getting the harness in the bumper extended. It gets super dirty back there, so I didn't want to just leave it (like the guys that installed my bumper did ). I ended up cramming it full of dielectric grease, then ziptied a small baggie over it. Worked fine.

Flex tape or ductape will do the job also..

I did similar - ziptied part of a nitrile glove over open connectors.

Yea, im not gonna hook the parking sensors back up, but would rather not let the connection become destroyed. Think I've got a plan together.

Two questions today:

In a 2014-era LX, is it possible to change the default radar cruise control distance from longest to shortest? On a long trip, it would be nice not to have to change on every restart.

Is it possible to have anything other than maps on the in-dash display while driving? I know you can add other layers to the right side of the map, but I’d like to leave up the Audio screen, as an example.

Some people install that NaviPlus so you have you phone apps on the screen, plus topo maps etc..

Is there a storage spot in the second row for the middle headrest? Removing it would be ideal for visibility. I thought I remembered reading about this somewhere, but cannot find any info on it now.

EDIT: I think I found it. Third row driver's side seat?

I'm storing mine in the garage 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, third row driver’s side seat back has a zipper at the top to store the third row middle seat headrest. It’s often the hiding spot of “missing” headrests.

Does anyone know what this power source/ connector is for (wires are green & white w/ black stripe)? It's located inside the side rear panel, behind the 3rd-row seat release lever on the driver side of my 2016 LC200. The connector shows power when the accessory & ignition is turned on. I may add few USB charge ports to this connector. Should that be okay?
