I just got an email from a guy looking for a mechanic in the Oak Island area. Sounds like he lost the PHH. He got my email from Toyota Trails I guess.
Any ideas or referrals for the area? I told him we'd be at Frisco Woods, nothing like doing a PHH for a campsite repair...

If he needs a PHH I have a spare, of course I would need a replacement but wont need it for quite some time.
i got the 55 back together and running..should be there friday at lunch
Oak island is a far cry from here...but I did just strip an 80 series in my shop for my build. I think I saved the hoses by I'm not positive. Welcome to it if I have it

I'll call you tomorrow morning! We're leaving early early on Friday to get to Frisco Woods by noon. Need us to carry anything out with us? We'll be going up to Va Bch after STR and won't be back to SP until Wed night.
To answer your question a little better Adam, I don't think anyone else even has firewood on their radar. Bring all you can. We generally held one decent size fire in a "common" are around the sound side and hang out together.
Anyone else have access to firewood?

Yeah, Oak Island is halfway between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach getting close to the NC/SC border. May get in touch with some of the Lowcountry guys for repair places.
If anyone is checking the thread down there...I've received the package from Greg and will bring it down with me.

just a suggestion on the phh and to prevent busted knuckles......as far as campground repair it may be a lot easier to just pull the old phh off and remove the hard metal line and replace it all with a long piece of heater hose from the napa. can alwasy go back to oem when its at home.

Did this last week. No good way to replace that thing without throwing out my back or really pissing me off. So I cheated with 2' of 5/8 hose. Works great.
