First time. Really Stoked! Is there an itenerary for events? I have registered already and was wondering if there was anything else I would need to pay for.

Just throwing this out there for you guys...If you need a place to air down and fill up before you head up to the VA line. You can stop by my coffee shop right next to the last gas station in Corolla. I have a compressor up there that is good enough for airing up tires. Its about a half mile from where the paved road endes. We have a big parking lot...I share it with the guy who does the horse tours with cruisers...although he's down to one but it is a 47 with a 1hz. I'll have my rusty 60 with a 2H. My 79 series is not done yet :( If you want we could probably even show you guys some of the back roads up the beach that most people don't know are there. We could also give you a bit of history on the place. Just throwing it out there.

Sounds great, and thanks for the offer on air. Im sure there would be several folks up for a backroads tour. I would say plan on it if you are available and we will likely have a sign up for the group to choose and split between beach time or backroads on the VA line run day.

I think that would be much appreciated. In the past we did try to contact and stopped by the horse tours place to try and set that up but never heard back from him.
Figures this would be the year it happens and I can't make it. :flipoff2:

Yeah he's always scrambling around...I'm a friend of his and do all the work on his vehicles and I still have a hard time tracking him down.

No worries on the air....It only take a few minutes to fill up my 33's so it should get everybody's done in a decent time frame. Sure beats filling up at the gas station next store...that thing is the biggest ripoff.

I will talk with Jay and see if he want to do the guided tour thing...if not I'll be happy to show you guys around. I should be able to sneak away from work for a few hours. I might even try to get down to hatteras one day while you guys are there.

Just let me know about how many rigs there will be and I see what we can work out.

Joe - I know you said you wouldn't be able to leave until after lunch on Wednesday. Is that still your situation?

Ramon - Any more thoughts on when you'd like to leave? Like you said, we can either try and bust out early to beat the traffic, or wait a little later to let it die down.

Also, Ramon....your PM box is full. I tried to PM this to y'all, but it said you couldn't receive any more PM's until you clear space.

I'm flexible on departure time. I plan on loading all the gear in the trucks and putting the Cruiser on the trailer the evening before, so I'm good to go anytime on Wednesday.

Inbox has been cleaned - hadn't done that in a while :)

I'm open for suggestions, but I think I'd just as soon bust out early assuming we have good weather that day to justify extra time at the beach. Let's watch the forecast and make a decision closer to go time.

Sounds like a plan!

Allen you guys decide when you want to leave, I'll do what I can to make it. We are having some appliances installed Wednesday, not sure what time yet as they'll let us know Tuesday. In all likelihood it'll be after lunch to mid afternoon for me.
