I couldn't play video..?
Did you get any kind of error message? I just tried it and it worked for me, the wife watched in Chicago around 7p on her Windows laptop.
Sorry, I thought it came out pretty well but not well received here I guess...
Very nice video, I miss OBX. Makes me want to go camping right now down there.

I loved it, all the songs fit the ride!
Thanks for the feedback, I think some of us are planning a trip late summer/early fall to Portsmouth Island. Could be fun...

Where is the first pic? It looks like the sound side, but where? I didn't know you could drive to the sound side up in north corova - how far up is that? Where was the bonfire?

yea, the first pic is just at the campground at Frisco Woods. We had a spot down from everyone else near the sound. very nice spot.
I know the next years schedule doesn't come out until after the steering comittee at the Christmas part but any ideas or of making it the same every year? We ARE hell or highwater making it this year.
Brian and I have discussed that but we try to find a weekend where all the other clubs aren't doing anything and it has some distance from GSMTR which is another big trip.
I think we are going to have a face to face BOD at the september event to cover this.
I'm making it too next year no matter what, missing this year was a killer.

I actually posted the date of the 2012 trip back in March. It's going to be April 25th to the 29th, 2012.
I tried last year to keep it away from GSMTR as much as possible this year, but since not that many of us attended GSMTR, and no one from Upstate attended STR, I went ahead and set the date.
GSMTR has changed dates from year to year from anywhere from May to June. STR will stick with the last two weekends in April as the date. Anything later in the year gets into mosquito/black fly season and less driving access (Starting May 1), anything earlier is just cold... The only thing that would change the date around would be Easter.
And since Windfest didn't really affect our ride this year, we're going to run with it. You'll see much more planning and events then in the past for next years trip!

Do you have to be a ONSC member to attend?
Not in the past, and I don't think we have any plans to change that.
