Shouldn't be that hard to find a good fan/clutch set up. Call Classic Cruisers. Jrob just got several used parts from them.

Done! shipping tomorrow fan ,clutch and 4 flange studs.... I am having to modify my fan shroud to go around power steering pulley. Always something never ending:)

But after all this I should be COOL!

Ya shoulda Georgled this deal! I have ten or more fans and clutches sitting around the shop. Freebie if you cover shipping ......

And like the others mentioned. Clutch. Proper fan. Shroud. Done.

Dang it! I hated to bother you on small junk. Cause i will be georgling alot in the next couple of months:). I might be able to cancel the order in the morning if so I will call you tomorrow.

Between Georgle and Bossman...we all could make a few trucks with the parts. It is very impressive.

Just need two rail cars of beer and Rudy's!

Got my shipment from Cali! Thanks G! Now I have found out that the 40 series LC has different size fans and fan shrouds. NICE. I have also found that I do not have the right shroud. NICER. In conclusion I have also noticed my power steering pulley will hit my new Cali Fan. NICEST! So I will have to do a little reconfiguring on the current power steering setup and try and find a shroud. Due to the lack of fj40 parts in this area I do not think I will have one before GSMTR. Do y'all think I can do GSMTR without a shroud?

PS: In need of a big fan shroud that will fit a 40 with a champion aluminum radiator.

Georg set me straight. He has one just will not have it by gsmtr. Said I should be fine for Gsmtr without a shroud. Might have to stop every so often for a beer to let it cool down:) which ain't a bad thing!

Sure it will.

So you need a fan shroud that will fit the stock fan?

When do you need it? (Date)

Make your own shroud.you are more than capable. Even if its turns out to be a temporary one till yours gets here.
Beer/ piss pauses is what keeps my zuk cool.

Got the fan installed. Had to use 2 washers to bump it out from the water pump pulley. And I also moved my power steering pulley back just a hair. No issues with anything hitting but I believe I will be replacing PS pump soon. Sumbitch is nasty, no drips but residue all over it. Which brings me to my next question. Can you get a PS pump that is thinner? If I could get one that is a inch thinner I could redo my belt setup and everything would be better.
The fan is going to be the ticket. I can already tell it is moving alot more air even without a shroud. I will test drive tomorrow to see how it does. I will get a shroud in the near future but not before next weekend.

Clarence between fan and PS pulley. Look at the ps pump, can you get one with a shorter shaft? That will make the pulley come closer to the ps housing?

Space between rad and fan. How much space is needed? I have the rad sitting forward about 3/4 of a inch due to the electric fan I had. Should I move it closer to the fan?

Saggy rear passenger side fixed thanks to some old springs WCT gave me. Also added some bling with raffle prize shackles from GSMTR.

On another note, got the burban running! Runs good but have not driven yet because the brakes don't work very well. Gotta get them fixed so I can drive it like I stole it!

Brakes! ? we don't need no stinking brakes!

Put the Energy suspension polyurethane bushings on the rig. WOW!!! One of the best upgrades I have done. I didn't think it would change the ride that much, boy was I wrong. Thing rides like a caddy.
I highly recommend this 100.00 upgrade if you still have the old ones.
