The site is secured and wood will be delivered, no need to bring any. I’ve got a group of volunteers

What the Firewood situation going to be like?

If I know Ande, there is already a dry cord waiting on us.

I’ll have plenty of local fire wood at the site for all. Transporting firewood from place to place can transport non native bugs like emerald ash borer and other harmful pest to forests like oak wilt, beech rot.... so if you carry firewood anywhere make sure that you burn it all.
So here are the Directions to the campground, just south of Wolf Lake IL on route 3, turn on State Forest road, about a mile on your left will be Pine Hills Rd. The campsite is about 1.5 miles up on the right. There are good size towns all around for any needed supplies. Jonesboro is about 14 miles, Grand Tower is smaller but closer. Plenty of snacks beer and ice.

Let's talk a little about the pot luck. I'm guessing there will be plenty of meat type dishes, should we bring some sides and dessert?

Friday night is dinner at the lodge, so pot luck Sat. night, what say ya'all.

Only if they have pork in them

Bourbon makes a nice side, and dessert 😁
Those bacon bit chocolate chip cookies were yummy too!
The address for the Friday night dinner at the giant city lodge is 460 giant city rd. Just in case some folks want to meet us there. Reservations are at 6:30. After that y’all are invited to the Voodoo shop and Level Seven Motorsports shop in Marion before heading back to camp.

Trust me you want Mrs. Scrapdaddys cake. Wow! Definitely missing out. Weather looks great.

But the question is.....will there be a record number of Pigs at the Soirée? This is the year of the Pig.

I think @RUSH55 said once that would have to be greater than 15.

Man, I don’t remember 🤔
Some of those old East Coast pig parties were pretty big. @shmuckster might be able to chime in on that.
Some of the NorCal runs were pretty big too.

You might set the record this year NG.

If any of you going to the SSS have one for sale, I need a good FJ55 windshield (try to hold your laughter). @wngrog will mudship it back to Mississippi for me.
