I have a rust free 1962 FJ40 (factory soft top) that is ready for restoration. This Land Cruiser was 'ready for paint' when it was abandoned at a restoration shop a little over a decade ago. It is remarkably complete with some true 'unobtainium' parts included (see pictures). In addition to the 1962 FJ40 (and it's multiple tubs of parts), I am including all remaining Land Cruiser parts that I have after the completion of my 1973 FJ40 resto-mod. There is no Title available for the 1962. I am Located near Du Quoin Illinois 62832 Below there are links for 3 different google photo albums. I am asking $10,500 obo for everything shown (except the finished 1973)

I am also shocked! I DO have it sold (pending pickup) but im shocked I had to drop it to 7k

Deal yes....but it's on the specialty end of the cruiser spectrum.....even more so with lack of a title. I know some states that isnt an issue, for others however it's a tall hoop to jump through.

This offer was very tempting for me. The transport distance was the deciding factor. I am hoping that a deal was consumated with a friend of mine who was a bit closer. A stand-up FJ owner.

Buyer was a bit nervous as well but the potential was the deciding factor. I think titeling (sp?) this vehicle may be easier in that it is so old. It will be interesting to watch...

Obviously you can make a new one with the correct numbers to match the frame however if you go to register something that someone reported missing you have a serious problem. Otherwise your swapping vins all together or just using for parts. Great truck. Great price.
