Is that a vacuum gauge at 1:48, or? Is that considered a steady vacuum if it is?

Yea, something is still up somewhere in tokyo...was going over exactly what SOR did to my engine so I can inform the shop when I take it in.Is your vacuum still quite jumpy?
Exactly! I cold adjusted the valves in my '84 FJ60 to those numbers back in September. Got back to my place in Nevada again last week and was able to get it running after diagnosing/correcting a fuel delivery issue. The 2F purrs like a kitten (new fuel pump, new spark plugs, rebuilt carburetor, and fresh gasoline) at those settings. Ran out of time before having to head back to New Mexico, but will adjust warm when I'm back out there early next year.Set them at .008" intake and .014" exhaust cold.
And then adjust them when the engine is up to operating temperature.
