Wondering if anyone has direct experience with these sliding windows for 60 series. I've personally seen a 60 that has the first generation they offered. IMHO they seemed clunky and poorly designed (they were undersized and used rivets).

These appear to be a 'new and improved' option: Page 321 Land Cruiser Rear Cargo Sliding Windows

So, anyone have any intel on these?

I'm going to order a headliner sooner than later, so I figured I 'might as well' order a set if they are decent.

My inquiry with them about the new design compared to the old version when I was looking into slider window options:
"
Hello,
The old sliders did not use the factory gasket. These were redesigned over a decade ago. The new slider design does use the original Toyota gasket. These are flat and do require manipulation of the vertical pinch welds in the window opening to install these. Neither the early design nor the later design, when installed correctly, leaked at the attachment point at the body. This design will admit some water where the 2 glass panels meet in the center in a driving rain. This is a function of hoe the window was designed. No, there is no warranty against this."

Personally don't have any experience with them but i actually looked and inspected them at SOR when I was up there a few days ago . They are definitely much better than the previous version . I do like that they use the factory gasket now for installation

They look pretty good to me. Basically the same as a rear slider in the back of an old Toyota pickup. Chances are the only way water would get through is with a pressure washer at the car wash. Someone needs to try these and report back. Page 321 Land Cruiser Rear Cargo Sliding Windows
