Walked in my front door about 3am cst.
Pulled out of the KOA at 5:15am cst.

I was hallucinating the last ten miles thinking everything was either deer or a raccoon in the road.

Stopped in Poncha Springs on the way home to drop the mini camper off with @cmorley

Mini camper is a 10 out of 10! Would recommend a KarlKamper for anyone’s tiny travel needs.

One more great week in the books. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the event..It was wonderful seeing old friends and making a few new ones..Got to wheel with some cows on the way out funny they move faster than the 40s hahaha

Were the cows on Owl Creek Pass? We always go back to Denver that way and there are usually some cowboys & cowgirls running a heard around up by Silver Jack Reservoir.

Thanks for a great week everyone! It was nice putting some faces with internet names, and despite some mechanical issues that limited my trail runs it was great getting out with some folks.

Thanks @POTATO LAUNCHER @CenTXFJ60 @samc2447 Tim Maggie Chanette and everyone else who puts this thing together for all your work, and for inviting me (Cruiser Trash Parts) to be a supporting vendor this year. I’m sure there’s a lot more work than the rest of us see that goes into such an event to make it go off without a hitch. Karen and I really love our Land Cruiser Summer Camp and it always hurts to leave every year, but here we are trying to readjust to real life where nobody knows what Aisin, 2F, off camber, flex, or 12HT swap means. Thanks also to Brandon & Nate at Classic Cruisers for getting a key part to get my 60 back on the trail.

***FYI if you won either of the FJ60 Fusible Link Replacement Kits, please contact me! I want to make sure it will work for you!***

We just rolled into home back in Michigan at 1:30 a.m..
Must have a PBR to celebrate per tradition!
It took a little coaxing to get Jessica to pose for the Pic 😆. No problem, I can finish her beer too.
I am so grateful to have such an amazing bunch of friends. We had a short trip this year in the truck I didn't want to take but totally worth it!
Upside is we hauled a near perfect Olive 40 tub back from Classic Cruisers to replace the tub on my Olive 78 fj40!

You are more than welcome. Thank you for being a part of it. It is a labor of love for us.

Thought i would mention a highlight worth sharing. SAS can be about trucks and trails and war stories. Its also about getting to know people better as well. We adopted @cruisermatt at our camp site since he did not have a site. During the course of the week, I realized what a genuine and extremely generous person he is with his knowledge, skills, and tools. He was always willing to jump in and offer his help. He is passionate about cruisers and serving our community. A gem. Thanks for spending time with us! Thanks for who you are and what you do for all of us!

I wouldn’t pose with you either. She’s hot; you not so much.

😂😂😘😘

~2,400 miles and we're home. Other than a sway bar bracket I zip tied back on at SAS2 coming apart again, and a dash light dimmer that isn't working now - she did alright.

I know, it's not as trendy as a PBR @dogfishlake but I had to crack a celebratory beverage as well.

Weeks over, can we go back to driving these? (My back and right knee really want to know).

Great time as always!
The kids had a blast. Met some new friends and caught up with old ones.
Thanks to everyone that makes this event happen and those that attend to make it fun. Looking forward to next year already.

I could literally hear my belly laugh echo off the woods when I read that!

I would like to thank all who made it to SAS 7 this year. A huge shout out to the sponsors that make our raffle so enjoyable and a personal thank you to all that pitch in unasked to make this annual reunion extraordinary.
Safe travels to all heading home.
Casey...
