Only drink one Jarod no need to trip with them big rocks yor totin !
No need to worry about me drinkin and totin. Only took that 1 beer, a little sunshine, and some Greatful Dead Jams playing to get me to stop all production for the evening.

Two questions....
  1. Is there any idea on what days folks will tackle which trails? I want to schedule a family train ride on the Durango & Silverton, but don't want to miss out on something like Imogene pass because I booked the wrong day.
  2. Is Black Bear pass suitable for a stock FJ75 Troopy? I've read a few different trip reports and I'm confused on it being suitable for stock trucks vs. requiring high clearance.
I like to run Imogene the 1st day of the event black bear the 2nd or if I have a group that moves fast we do both in one day you will be fine in your Troopy with a little spotting. You can jump in with us (we will announce in the morning meetings what trails we are doing ) We will get you through. Our little group is full of seasoned wack jobs, I mean wheelers. On a side note only book the train 1 way round trip is a really long day!! Alot of snow this year I expect alot of closures due to mudslides and snow pack. Expect alot of only the fly trail choices .

Hey Randy is that a wackjob following you on that switchback ?……asking for a friend.

I bought two gmrs radios for this trip.

One bolted down to the console. The other a handheld as a back up.

Worst case, I'll pack a rape whistle and a signal mirror.
Don’t forget to drop smoke and bone up on your signal flag usage

I took a megacruiser though it with no issues last year. It's really not that bad if you know your rig.

Thanks for the pointer on the train... it does seem like it would make for a long day doing both up and down...
