I know this is way early for the planning procrastinator that I am, but the eagerness is getting the better of me:

What's the word on convoys this year? Any of 'em starting to form up off-line? Looks like we already have a few of us from the South, and I was half expecting the TX guys to do their meetup and ride from Casey's place again. Considering the pain I put my rigs through, it's sure helpful knowing backup isn't too far away.
I don’t know if the meetup at Casey’s is gonna happen. :( The wife and two kiddos and I are going to leave early to maybe see some historical sights along the way. Anyone is welcome to join, but it’ll be leisure and we will leave around the 1st (maybe) and be in Ouray around 2 or 3rd latest. Coming from Fort Worth.

If you are traveling alone this year I reccomend starting your preventive maintenance and shakedown runs early. Not that we couldn't find you and get the coffee wagon to Ouray again.

Just called the KOA and the entire back area is booked. So just FYI

Dang!! :frown: JK!...Definatly was one for the books!!;)

I'm sure there will be room for a 70 somewhere. A few of the Seattle guys and myself have spots back in that same corner.
I'll have to squeeze in somewhere, the KOA is fully booked except for tent sites in the very front. But I know it will all work out. :) Convinced a newcomer to join as well, so may have to find a spot for an 81 too

Update! They have 2 tent sites in the back (at the time of posting) are available August 4-8. Sites 46C and 49 are open. I just took 50 for those dates. And I'll mooch the 2-3 :)

I booked a tent site for myself this morning. I just have no idea what spot I got :flush:
Mine will be open to whoever needs a place to set up and rack out. I got the 60 set up to sleep in so that is all the room I will need.

Thanks Nook!
Colorado and New Mexico are the only 2 western states I’ve never been to, would love to see CO with the Toyota crowd. Would be awesome meeting you guys and your family. What are your dates? When are you leaving?
With my new vacation property my time will be limited.

Yeah @Dilspec I wasn't able to make it down to SAS #3 because the clutch went out the week of. Since then I put a stage 2 South Bend clutch and a new H55F in it. Finally got the brakes to be able to lock up the 37s and be able to hold it in 1st when you let the clutch out.

Tentative plans to roll out of Seattle area on 7/31Friday AM. We generally take 2 1/2 days for the trip there-back. Arriving mid day on Sunday.

We will head out Friday 8/7 or Saturday 8/8 for the upper left.
