Will be there asap, our travel group is planning on crossing Stoney Pass into Silverton then into Ouray.
Less than a week folks, can't wait to hang out with some fellow Mudders..
Some of us will be heading up to Monte Vista from Taos this Wednesday the 9th. On Thursday morning we'll be heading up past Creede and turning west on the road to Stoney Pass, driving past Rio Grande Reservoir. Probably mid-morning at the turn-off to Rio Grande Reservoir from CO 149.My place is about 3 hours from from Lake City CO which I think is close to the east access to Stony Pass. I'd like to join y'all for that run if some other stuff falls in place.
Can you make a SWAG on the date and time you will start the Stony pass run?
Thanks
Jim

I'm about 80% that I will be able to make it down for Friday and Saturday.
I'll bring some raffle prizes.![]()
Too bad I'm not quite done with my build, or we'd have 3 blue FJ60s (and I would have still brought the FJ40, my wife would get the luxury of driving the FJ60).That will make two blue 60's in the group. Two 40's a 62 and an 80.

Will link up with you folks and drive Stony Pass and on to Ouray. After that, not sure what we will do.
Stay a while?
Glad I could help out hope you got everything going goodI want to send a big thank you to Yackster and Potato Launcher for their help getting my fj80 back on the road and making it possible for me and my family to make it to the first ever Solid Axle Summit. After a blown head gasket Yackster machined the head and replaced the valve seals and got the lifter buckets back in for me and Potato Launcher had the right answers every time I had technical questions. He even came out to the house and helped me torque the crank bolt. So I owe it to these guys for making it possible for me to get my first ever Toyota to come back to life.
It made it to OKC for a work trip and is running great. Hell of a shake down run. Will be headed back to Amarillo on Tuesday to unpack and load the camping gear and head for Colorado Wednesday morning. Can't wait!Glad I could help out hope you got everything going good
