It's totally different than a 40...much longer and heavier. We had both at one point and wheeled them together. The LV is a family cruiser. The 40 is a "jeep." The tail does bottom out easier on big elevation changes, which is one of the reasons I liked it without the bumper. If you look at the pics, you can see that I had a big channel bumper on there at one point. Cut that off. On the flip side, the LV tracks straight down the road unlike a 40. We went through some pretty gnarly stuff with the LV. Called it the "tractor." Both put the 200 to shame on the trail. The 200 can tow a double-wide mobile home, but doesn't have all that much clearance compared to what we're used to.

Thanks everyone for the kind PMs and interest. Cruiser is going to a new home. I'm sure you will still see it here on MUD with the new family...hopefully looking better than ever!

Proud new owners of our dream cruiser. I’ve had a couple of 40s and 43s over the past ~10 years or so but with two small children in the family now I wanted to share my “cruiser love” with the kids as well and the LV is the perfect truck for us. Many thanks to Marc for a very honest sale, the truck needs very little he did an amazing job with the previous restoration and cared for it while not babying it during his ownership. Excited to finally be an LV owner and bring this one back to Arizona!

Congratulations!! You got a BEAUTIFUL cruiser!

congrats on the 45LV.......but let me warn you.....you won't be able to go anyplace without people stopping you. My 45 is hands down the rig in town that gets the most looks, most waves and most complements, everyone from little kids to 90 year old great great grandmas love it. And there is nothing quite like driving a 45LV that is still running the original drivetrain(in my case, no seatbelts, heater and single line brakes).......it truly takes you back in time(to a much better place IMOP) Last week I had a guy offer to trade me a built 2018 TRD 4runner and one of his kids ;) (fairly sure I wouldn't trade it for a 2019 200 series)

I feel like your new 45LV was once in WA state for some reason but may be wrong.

the turn signals look different.
