Sorry, been busy to check the thread.. but glad to see it's going crazy.

I was going to mention Juniper Springs group camp, as it's the perfect place... but were only allowed 40 people and 8 rigs! 8!....

Lets try setting a date first.

That was my thought too, and looking at it's location, it doesn't look like there is a lot of shade trees there. Can you imagine 25 people, all trying to fit in the shade of one tree.

Honestly, the Big Pine group site is over a mile away from the shooting ranges, and it is over a half mile from the regular Big Pine camp ground. Would there really be that much noise pollution at those distances?

So how does the weekend of August 18th and 19th (Sat & Sun) work for the group?

Did a Google search on off-road / any events for Aug. 18th and 19th the only thing I could find was the Renaissance Faire and I seriously doubt Robin Hood likes to wheel.

I am a no go too for August 25th and 26th and Sept. 1st and 2nd is Labor Day Weekend.

ROTFLMFAO - Jeanne DOES NOT camp, period, end of story, no way, hell hasn't frozen over, etc... If there isn't a bed, flush toilet, hot running shower, etc., you get the picture. She hates camping from when she was a kid.

I, on the other hand, have seen 49 states in this great union from a tent growing up. Still need to get to Alaska!

I have a PETT, separate potty/shower enclosure, Coleman hot water on demand unit, her choice of a very comfy cot or Intex air mattress in either a single or double size and a huge 10x10 Springbar tent w/awning. Ain't going to happen. She's been very clear about that for years. Besides, she gets a better nights sleep w/o me being around snoring! ;p
