Late July - August.
Is this it?
Horse Springs Campground
It's the only one I could find called Horse...something, off of 4N16.
If that's the one, it's not free, It's $10 per night per site. It has 11 sites, 2 vehicles and 8 people max per site.
There is always this option too...
Big Pine Flat Equestrian Group Campground
It's $85 a night, and will accomodate 15 vehicles and 25 people.
It is the only one up there that will accomodate more than 8 vehicles.

Sweet Scott's in so now where is Mo and Boyd?
Yeah, that't the one. The only camps up their that are free are the Yellow Post camps and you are limited to 8 people and 2 vehicles. With Horse Springs people are on their own and can stay as long as they want and the fees are on them. It will hold up to 22 vehicles although a second vehicle in a camp is $5 more. I think it's good because no one has to be the bank and we are very secluded and won't have a bunch of ATV's around us kicking up dust and starting their engines at 6:00 in the morning. Plus you are away from the shooting ranges which start up at 7:00 AM!![]()
Thanks bossCongtats!!!
So I just got the wife and the two kids to commit to the meet and greet (kids were always in). She is also open to learning how to wheel the rig, sweet! This will be fun, thinking Holcomb Creek will be a great starter trail.
