Allright she is home. Paid the 55 dollars to get the 55 home. Not a bad deal. Now I just have to get her looking like she is running before the neighbors freek.

Couple of intersting things found so far. One old beer can in the back seat. I guess this was from the outing with the mailboxes. Also when I flipped the sunvisor down an old joint fell out. MMMMMM old crusty joints.

Looks like a lowrider sitting next to the cruiser. So small. Check out the hubs. I have never seen ones like that before.

*edit* yeah those def. look like the factory drive plates, which from what I understand is how most cruiser were shipped from Japan, and then once in port the dealers would install the comman warn hubs most us have........ so it looks like you have something kinda cool and rare there....

She'll look a lot better once you wash it, install a headlight, replace the front turn signals, spray paint the front bumper silver, and Windex the windows clean. Oh, and Armor-All the tires, too.

Alex is planning on coming by Sunday. I'm going to wiring up his headlights. So pop by anytime.

Washed her today. Lots of oxidation that need polishing. Installed battery.

She turns over. All the lights work. all the guages work. all the fans, blinkers, hazard, windshield wipers and yes even the windshield washers worked. I'm stoked. Even put air in the tires today and they hold air somehow. Only thing not working yet is the rear window.

Nope they are locking hubs. Something wierd. But they def turn and have "lock" "unlock" stamped on them.
