Hello
I have inadvertently deleted my e-mails from the nice registration lady. If she does not monitor this thread, would someone please let her know one of my parole officers will be riding with me and the other two will be in another rig and will mail in a registration? Trying to help keep the head count accurate.
Thank you
Peter

Sounds like witness protection......

Question is if we want to pick up a keg of good beer for SMORR. I can't drink beer anymore (thanks a lot doc), but I have all the equipment to make this happen.

Boulevard double wide is usually a favorite, also wheat or we can go Colorado style and pick up some other brews. You can call lucas at 119th and see what they can get quickly if you want options.

So, want to see who wants to pitch in $10 for beer. If we get enough, I will front the costs and get it there.

Playing devil's advocate here, I don't think it's a good idea to provide beer for event attendees from a liability standpoint. Attendees should be responsible for their own beverage consumption. The last thing TAC needs is an attendee getting hammered on beer WE provided and doing something stupid.

IMO, BYOB. This places responsibility upon the individual vs. TAC.

I'm happy to donate $10 to the suds fund. And another $5 for the 24 hour umbrella liability policy.

Now to the food for Sat. night dinner. We, the board of TAC, have decided to supply all of the food except for dessert. Just makes everything much easiser and we won't have to worry about enough being provided. You are on your own for drinks. We may have iced tea, but will not supply alcoholic beverages. Never have, won't start now. If anyone wants to bring a dessert item I know folks would enjoy it. We will also provide plates, eating utensils, napkins amd cups if we do the tea.

OOPS. My Bad

Sorry if that was unclear. This is totally sidebar to any event sponsored conversation. I am not speaking as part of TAC.... personal only.

This is my question to some friends if they want to go in together to get some suds.

I'm sorry but my brothers wedding is that weekend. I really do not want to attend the wedding but I have to, family and s***. Not thrilled about this but is what it is. They won't change the date either, I tried.

Early Arrivals?

IIRC, last year, a few went down early to help Brandon clear some trails, gather firewood, ect. Does anyone plan to do the same this year? I can be at SMORR as early as AM the 11th.

Change 1 - I can be at SMORR as early as Thursday afternoon. I have to wait for the little guy to get out of pre-school (they grow up so fast). The question still stands, is anyone heading down early, of so, when?

I think Colin and Rob are going down early. I am shooting for Thursday AM departure with RobKC, but depends on my work....... and if I get any sleep welding all night on FOO to get her ready.

Rob, Peggy and my family are all headed down Wednesday, meeting at the Flying J in peculiar at 0715 AM and heading out from there. Plan is set up camp and cut wood Wednesday and wheel the rest of the weekend. Erik and Jenn are planning on coming Wednesday night.

To all of my good cup holding "friends". I only have 3 friends so far.... need a few more to commit to this

Hmmmm. I might be convinced to bring refrigerated storage device for said contraption if needed

got 5 friends..... start packing it up. Approaching small horse size....

You don't have 5 friends. Stop trying to fool people into thinking you're slightly popular.

Anyone bringing a chainsaw for firewood - - supposed to be a high of 82 and lows in the 50s - - might be frigid to us after the next couple of days :)

I can snore like one? Dem boyz will probably have a gathering of wood by the bus by the time all of us get down there. Getting closer!
