And thanks to Jim and Rob for a seat in their (in Rob's case it's as good as his) 80s. Sometimes it's fun just to ride along!

Rob, Kyle, Dave and I took the FJC's on a run Saturday morning...... for some reason they trusted following a guy with a rig named FOO. May be time for a judgement check for some.......

We started with Pee Wee - that is the creek run near camp. It was a challenging trail, but they showed the true Toyota spirit and came through it virtually unscathed.

Thanks for Sam, Nick and Mike for brining out their FJC's to play! Rumor is that one might get taller soon....

Thanks Everyone I had an absolute blast. Most importantly I have not met a nicer group of people that were willing to share their advise and help me on my first true off road trip. Thanks again!

The rumor is true I'll post the pics and build on here as well:popcorn:

His Fooness, and either a Plainbelly or Rat (black) snake

I think it was a Black Mamba. Nice of me to return him to the woods so he wouldn't get run over, wasn't it?

Thanks for posting some great pics of my rig!

I think you're right! I wish I would have gotten a pic of you applying chapstick before you gave it a kiss and placed it gently to the side. And I swear I heard screaming from the Foo mobile, but could be mistaken

Hope you and your son had a great time!

When we left last night, we saw that Grand Wagonneer on the side of the highway replacing a tire. I Slowed down and tried to communicate if they needed help. Hope that was a quick repair and they got back on the road.

Adam said they decided to drive it back to Springfield instead of tow just to see how it would do. They made it about 5 minutes down the road and the back end was wobbling so bad Katy tried to pull into a driveway as a back wheel fell off. A neighbor of SMORR stopped to help put the tire back on and load it on the trailer.

I'll get the rest of mine up later, but I thought this a good representation for the winners of the carnage award. Thanks Johnny, Chris, Peter and RJ. You pushed me just outside of my comfort zone and I loved every bit of it. Rosemary wants to know when all the dust will get out of her nose. :)

Great event!

Thank you to all of the TAC crew who put this event on. I had a blast and made some new friends and pushed my skills well beyond what I thought they were. Thanks to "80" Rob, Kelly and Dave.

As a last minute candidate.............the biggest prize....

the Carnage Award!!!

If you could PM me your address and I will get the Iron Butt award in the mail to you soon. Here is a visual for you.

Hey thanks. We all had a great time and plan to return. Only thing we missed out on was time around the campfire. Hopefully next time!
PM sent.
In case there was any doubt we deserved the Carnage Award, we actually broke the trophy loading it into the truck for the return trip home. Classic!
Thanks again!
Peter

Sounds like you guys had a blast out there. Any carnage to date?

There was a decent amount; Marty blew his transfer case in his 80, Jim blew a Fox shock in his 40 (Marty whittled a tree stump to fix it), Collin decided the rear windows in his 4rnr added too much weight, Rob R was down a day or two (don't remember what happened), Guy in a Lexus V8'd mini reworked quite a bit of sheet metal, and none of those won the carnage award!

I shredded some plastic, had a valve core fail and got a check engine light. Just runner up material :flipoff2:
