DNP, Euclid and I were able to get it all done in about 2 hours. Probably the most difficult part is the wiring of the fog lights and the turn signals. We got the fog lights working, but didn't have time to get the turn signals finished.

Very happy with how it turned out. The last mod I installed were the sliders and I said I was finished with my truck. That turned out to be incorrect, so I am going to refrain from that this time.

Thanks for all the help along the way. Great group of guys in the club that are always willing to help you spend your money!!

That looks great! I'm glad everyone is getting good at bumper installs and trimming frames before I do it.

Thanks. Don't wait too long or we might forget how to do it and have to start all over again messing things up...

Find me a deal like yours and its on. Otherwise I am going to spend some time over analyzing the many options.

Fatmat Rattle trap install

Since I had all my interior apart chasing down my water leak, before I put it all back together, I decided to install some sound deadening material. This is the same stuff I put on the doors when i replaced the speakers. Its called Fatmat Rattle Trap. This is the thickest stuff Fatmat makes.

I bought a bulk shipment off of Ebay for 149.99 shipped. It came with 100 square feet. I I split it with someone as I felt 50 would be more than plenty. THis is different from Dynamat in that it does not need heat to stick. Once you peel back the plastic, it sticks to anything it touches!!! Anything!!

Originally I had read on a thread about people putting down Peel N Seal from Lowes. It is a Mastic roofing insulation that people seemed to think serves the same purpose as the sound deadening material, just much cheaper.

I went and picked up some thinking I could save myself some money. That stuff turned out to be very thin so I took it back. In hindsight, I would have probably spent the same amount of money because it would have taken several rolls of the Peel N Seal.

I have only done one layer so far. I do plan to put a second layer on the wheel wells to give a little more insulation. I can't comment on the sound reading quality yet because all my seat belts and various other things are rattling because the interior is out.

Hopefully I will be able to get my interior all back together. It has been 4 months now with my whole interior trim in the front room of my house!!

That took patience! Looks good. Let us know how the sound is. I may have to try some.

Very nice Martin. Are you planning on going to Southern Cruiser Crawl at Superlift?

Thanks Layton. I am doing my best to make it this year. Football season is a busy time for me. Are you planning on going?

I know you don't care much for the hoop, but the bumper was a steal and I couldn't pass it up. Is there enough clearance from the fender to the bumper? I was concerned it wasn't enough...

Heck we have TN that weekend at home and will probably win but I could care less. Would be there but I won't miss the Crawl for a football game. Especially an Ole Miss football game :-)

Bodean...you didn't get the memo? the black bears are taking this season off....

Martin, I can tell you how that Auburn game is going to go down now, so you should plan on coming on over to the crawl....

Worst case, rent a 172 and fly over for the game and come back :D

Most of this season can be predicted right now. I am seriously leaning towards going to the crawl this year.

Ha ha. Gonna be another rough year for sure.

That's the spirit. You can still stand up, drink and eat at the Crawl, just like the Grove. Hell I'll wear a red polo on Saturday if you come up.
