let's have more on that lantern case and maybe what's inside it...

doh!

We're just going to explore Wyoming for two weeks. Setting up a base camp at Colter Bay and go for day trips. Seems to be a lot of four wheel drive trails all around the area. We're in WY. tonight and should get to Colter Bay midday.

First fill up told me the wagon is getting 17.3 mpg. I drove 565 miles and used @ half a tank, amazing. We were driving through 35 mph plus all day and got tossed around some. So far everything seems good!

man you're making it hard to keep beating the f engine bandwagon...

Lambcrusher,

I wouldn't want to drive these long distances with the F motor. The 5.3 makes it easy, even with the a/c blowing.

Sitting in the tent in Teton mountians, watching it rain and changing to snow! Who's idea was this anyway?

Well we had a good day. Rain stopped and the sun warmed us up. We took a four wheel trail along the Snake river and seen some wild life. The wagon is running good so far, I'll check in tomorrow.

The wagon did get dirty today, but the trail was more sand and rock.

I'm not sure, we did see a guy streaking past old faithful today. :) No Grizzlies yet, but everything else. Tomorrow, we're taking the Union Pass Road and down to Green River Lake that was featured in Expedition Portal. Looking forward to the ride. I need to check for anything coming loose on the wagon, but so far she's doing good. Meeting a lot of truck guys who like old pigs. Talk to you guys later.

Had my first malfunction, the tailgate winow stopped working. At least it's up and sealed good. I'll deal with when we get home. We went to the Green River Lake today and had a great drive along the the river. A lot of wash board that reminded me of old highway 1 in Baja. Headed to Cody tomorrow and see what trouble I can get into.

Did some Cruiser spotting, seen a nice blue 60 on the Green River and a perfect right hand drive 45 Troopy in Yellowstone. Made it to Cody and got a room to clean up and sleep in a bed, four nights in a tent with rain every night will wear you out. Tomorrow we're going to check out some dirt tracks. The wagon is running great and we're having a ball. Pictures will be posted when we get home because I'm a techno idiot.:)
