Hopefully you get a couple shakedown runs before hand

Me too, I need to put some break in miles on it, so maybe things will fall off then.

I'll be at the Swell in the 55....always a good time

Alright! Look forward to meeting you. I'll be the good looking old guy in the crowd! :)

I don't know Bob, I'm pretty good at the back step shuffle. I'd welcome the help anytime.

Well, I went and signed up for CruiseMoab in May. That's @1200 miles one way, so the cup holders better be right. You all know how much my Wife wants to travel and told me today, if the 55 isn't ready she's going in her Focus! So the pressure is on. Bumpers, skidplate, and a lot of little things, should make it.

Departing May 2nd, let the count down begin!

EDIT... I forgot to add, she ordered Coco Mats for the front, you know it's happening now. :)

What trails did you register for?

let's see, Thursday...Arches family run, Friday....Fins and things and Sat....Dome plateau. All are the easier ones, but should have a good time.

Are you thinking about making it?

Cool runs! I am thinking about it, but at this point I would put me in the "possible, not probable" category. Based on how this year is looking on the calendar, if I did make it over, it would probably be in something that is a little easier on gas. Although if gas stays @ $1.50, might as well make a Pig run!

We're planning on coming through Co. We have friends in Alma and will stopping to see them. Maybe we can run in together. If I don't make it with the 55, my Wife will be in a blue Focus.:)

Oh man, I used to drive by the turn-off to Alma when I was working in New Mexico. I am up in the Fort Collins area. Let's figure out schedules when we get closer to this...

Small update on our quest to go west! I got it legal today and got 60 miles on it. A lot of things to sort out, but getting there. Worst is a rear brake hanging up. Replaced the shoes last week and looked everything over, but still dragging. The auto adjuster is making the one side too tight. Can't wait to go to the full floater and discs. Got the bumpers done, not too bad and the spare mounted inside. Need to have a CB for the trail rides, so got one mounted.

The other bummer is she's a little touchy going through the gears, once it's up to speed seems to drive nice. I'm going to have the toe in checked next week. Thought I had it right on , but my wheel is a little off too, so get it done right.

Almost forgot, my Wife's Coco Mats and hopefully the winch gets wrapped this weekend.

I don't think the seat will be usable with the spare there. There's been an on going debate about the back seat and traveling with the Grandkids. For right now it's going to be a two seater.

Nice job - congrats on getting plates!

You will get alignment checked, yes? If the pitman arm is centered on the box, you may have to pull the steering wheel and re-install with everything centered. I had to do that on my 40 after the 60 series PS project.

You are coming out to Cruise Moab, yes? What trails are you running?

Pablo,

It goes in Tues. for a good alignment. Trails are the Arches family run, Fins & Things and the Dome Plateau.

I guess I guy could make it work, but to be honest I'm not sure I want to travel with the Grandkids. We traveled a lot with our Kids and it's work. When the time comes to just drive to the Dairy Mart for cones, Ill pull out the spare and bolt in the bench. Best of both worlds. :)

Thanks Man,

Yes, I used the tubing roller from Swag. It didn't work so well on the square tubing I used for the ceiling, but using round DOM tubing, it worked great. A lot of fun rolling it out.
