I think I'm going to cry!

Was a true pleasure getting to know you Daniel! She is a great old truck and is sure to make heads turn in Cali.

Well you can't get a sleeping bag on the sidewalk for 30k in your neck of the woods so I would say you did well. About time mud got some silicon valley :cookie: up in here ;)

hello guys, I'm new and this is my first post so take it easy! This appears to be the group that has the knowledge I seek regarding my first purchase of an FJ60 and I apologize if I am changing the subject. I am not new to purchasing classic cars but am new to determining the value of an FJ60. I've attached some pitctures as the car is in pretty darn great condition.

pros - 125k miles, NO RUST, original everything but wheels, strong motor with no leaks. Paint is fantastic but clear coat is disappearing.

cons - needs a dash replacement and maybe new carpet. headliner is flawless.

Curious what it's worth as prices seem to be rising quickly for clean FJ60s

THANK YOU!

You will probably get more responses in the tech forum for 60s. Just ask what you think it may be worth. Guys do it all the time.

Welcome to the forum! It is a great place to get all your questions answered about these wonderful trucks. To answer your question, I'd value it at 15-19. Low mileage is a HUGE selling point but it doesn't trump overall condition. Strikes against are the hideous wheels and worn out (and too big) tires. That is an easy $1500 fix. Carpet = $450. Dash - $100 (cap) or 600-700 for replacement. Then you get to paint... $$$$

Again, these are wonderful trucks that are somewhat easy to maintain and last forever. Good luck on your purchase.
