Ok, I'll throw my $0.02 into this. The oxidized black hardtop side panels will eventually become dark navy blue. With a bright white roof, Big Blue will definitely pop!

What are those bumpers?

The bumpers front and rear are home made, 3mm mild steel bent at a sheet metal shop I then sliced out wedges to bend and shape the channel and welded with a MIG. 8mm mounting plates and some reinforcement. I have patient neighbours who put up with the sound of a screaming angle grinder for a day. All up less than $200 excluding the rear swing away tyre carrier

As I bought it in May and as it sits now. This summer will get back to the original light blue (horizon or capri). I'm not sure which color was the light blue in '65.
