Have you tried mud ship? When we came your way we picked up some things in ABQ and hauled them to Barstow.
OK Winters to San Diego one way is 8 hours..

Post a thread in Mudship Don. Guessing it's not uncommon for members to be going up and down California. A windshield I bought from Mark's Off Road took about a year to get to me via 3 different members but mostly through the efforts of Jon @greenbeast. I'm still amazed to this day at how that all worked out. FWIW I would have just shipped it but Mark didn't want to do anything other than hand it to someone. Fair enough as the price was reasonable.
Didn't catch the Winters. So from Winters, FL (Cruiser Matt's shop?) to San Diego? That's a slightly different animal. I would still post up a thread; it can't hurt.
Nothing that's easy. I used a few pallets and made a box then wrapped it with card board. Spent way to long making it. Anyway you do it, its $$. I used SAIA to ship.
