I'd love to see a 5 speed plate with the early style FD knob transfer, but I'm sure I'm the only one!

I've thought about this myself. Are you considering using a FJ62 split transfer case with the vacuum shift and the late sixties/earlier seventies FD knob/cable/vacuum switch.

Yup. Want the LV dash to look original with a 2H-T and h55f. The 60 series OEM vacuum diaphragm is too big to fit in between the frame rails so I'll have to fabricate something.

I was wondering the same thing, that is a very big diaphragm. Have a A440 and split transfer case I bought back in 96. Came out of 90 model with 30K miles. At one time planned on using it with a 3FE in my pickup but that's getting a H42 and split transfer case now.

Is the diaphragm issue frame rail or floor clearance? Floor would be easier to deal with.

Frame

Was hoping it might be high enough to clear the frame.
Seeing the picture above reminded our old glove box plaques were held on with screws and nuts just like the VIN plaques. That and the 68 and later for a number of years used three screws for the hinge.

I went with the oem look with sublimation printing. I saw the sample of laser and didnt think it looked enough like oem. My cost increased a couple bucks. But I am keeping the same prices i have had for
Several years. I have them all listed on ebay. It will be several weeks before I get my 5 and 4 speed with oem transfer case.

This vendor will do one of a kinds. Im not sure if there is a design charge or not. Send me a pm with your specific requests.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have a couple extras of these made after a customer wanted one. Selling all my plates to mudders for $23.95 ships out Priority small package flat rate $8.30.

These look like the stock on an FJ40 including rounded corners the holes are not drilled so you can match the existing holes on the glove box door. The font may not be exact but I can't tell the difference as far as I'm concerned they match. If your trying to make it show room condition these will work fine. These are printed on .024 inch aluminum sheet metal. The will be shipped priority small flat rate. These look like the original except the holes aren't drilled for the rivets or screws and they are for a 3 speed no vacuum with a twin stick transfer case. These plates have an L2 line in the description

I have many variations in stock. You can always buy on ebay from me also.

I added this plate for those that change your three speed with vacuum transfer cases to 4 speed. $24 plus shipping $8.30. Just pm me yes the corners of the plates are rounded look close at the pic and you can see. So just about any combination of transmission you have I have a plate for including an automatic version.

You have 4 shift sticks? First for me? I have only heard of three sticks? Please explain how your gettiing a double twin stick!
The twin stick is standard AA, just like the last plate shown. I also have marlin crawlers version of a doubler. The Toy Box. It adds a second L-N-H portion of a toyota mini truck T/C to the front of my 3-speed T/C. This basically gives me 1to1, 2to1,or 4to1 reduction at the T/C

While on the subject, I have this plate for the 5 speed and always considered the 4x2 in the H4 description a typo?
