Coil or lead front? Didn’t it change in 1999?

Hey Elbee, this one is a May 1999 production date so it is a leaf-sprung front end. These trucks didn't switch to coil sprung front ends until later in the year (September or October I believe).

We've also got a 78 series Troopy coming in from Aus as well. True coil sprung front with a production date of October 1999. Should be the first 78 series to land in the US.

Thanks for your question!

Cheers,

Garrett

Just a recommendation: You are already on a LC specialist/enthusiast forum. There is no need to tell us about the history of the 70 series.

Stick to the specifics of the vehicle at hand and stop trying to sell us what we already know. Using words like “legendary”, “unleash”, etc., really doesn’t sell a vehicle on a forum where people have been working on 1FZ engines for 30 years. And a 1FZ doesn’t “unleash” anything. It’s a tractor motor with air conditioning.

Firm but fair. I just copied the text from our original listing and relisted here. I'll go back through and reduce the listing to its basis elements. Didn't mean to oversell the 1FZ or insult anyones intelligence.

It's bone stock. Has new Maxxis 33" MT's. Its a UTE.
