Sorry, this is not related to meets but I need some quick help from fellow Seattle area people...

I found some LX's in Bellingham area and need advise where to go for a pre-purchase inspection. Looks like there is only one dealer in Bellingham and the next closest is in Burlington. There is no Lexus shop anywhere near.
The one in Bellingham works for a private sale but not when buying from them (they have one).
Are there indie that you recommend for an LX inspection?
Thanks!
So you want an indie in Bellingham?

Anyone have someone they trust locally from chrome delete? Also, where do people go for regular maintenance, or does everyone do it themselves?

Since my 200 is newer, I have taken it to the dealer, Lake City Toyota, and Foothills Toyota in Burlington. Both dealers have been great, efficient and thorough.

What part of town are you in?

I use Bellevue Lexus for dealer recommended maint. As far as oil changes, brakes, etc haven't needed much. Had my brakes done at Bellevue when they were doing scheduled maint and that was a mistake "rip off"! I have a little place by my house I might try. One of my employees uses this guy and swears by him, Cascade Auto Clinic 425-885-5752, no personal experience here though.

Oh nice, Cascade is an easy bike ride from my house. I'm right near idylwood park. My old time mechanic/buddy that took care of all my cars and brothers cars moved to Chicago, so we're in the market for a new person. Just a leap of faith to trust the LC with someone I don't know 😬

I used Michael’s Toyota in Bellevue for a major service on my 200 over the summer and it was incredibly overpriced. They found other things that they said ought to be replaced during, which doubled the estimate. I felt violated and will never go back. Just writing this now makes me feel sick. I have never overpaid so badly before. Avoid that dealership for service at all costs.

I’ve always serviced my LX at Greg’s. I try to avoid Lexus of Bellevue at all costs.
What made you go to Gregg's? My 2 other cars are jap as well, as well as brothers 2 cars, other brothers 2 cars, and 3rd brothers car hahah. We all used to go to the same guy in Bellevue and he was a treat.

Sorry to hear that at @Sverige, but good to know.

My local Gregg’s is awesome. They have replaced my alternator, radiator, AHC flush, AHC shocks, and annual services. Always OEM parts.

Thanks that's good to know. Any chance you go to Bellevue one? I'll try them out, Starting with another car first

Any leads on that chrome delete?

Sorry, Renton. My LS was serviced at the Seattle location by previous owner

Michael's in Bellevue quoted me $125 more than Kirkland Toyota for an 80 series radiator. (same part number) (( Same Portland warehouse))

Bumpers are looking good @raincityrider . How do you like having the tire off the roof?
Literally the day after getting it off I had to park in a garage that I wouldn't have fit in before. So that was nice. And it looks way tougher!

Winter is here!
