No, they would rather just bitch about how far SD is for them, have the SD guys go out of their way to move it closer to OC and then bail and have all the SD guys driving 30-45 mins out of there way for nothing!

I will try my best to make it down. I had abdominal surgery on Mon so I am a bit off yet but I am going to try and make it. It was supposed to be on Aug 2nd and not interfere with the M&G but it got bumped up. :doh:

I want to thank you all for coming out! I think it worked out well considering we were meeting at a place none of us had been in a town none of us are from. Hey that's how we do it in SD I guess!
Oh and by the way Boston, I didn't hit any traffic at all on the 5 and it was a beautiful ride back down the 101. ;p
We did watch the race thanks to two 42" flat panels at Garcia's. Oh and the interaction between Eduardo and our waitress was entertaining to say the least!
 
It was good meeting and hanging out with you guys. That downtown part of Carlsbad was a good choice for just relaxing and having a couple beers. We should do it again while it's still too hot to go wheelin'.
 
Sorry I missed you all today. I was stuck at home but I look forward to meeting you all at the next one. :cheers:
