Disappointing to read that there's only a reduction of 4 lbs but so be it.

Just out of curioustiy is there any $ savings ordering both seats? If not I'll probably order a drivers seat with dual arm rests/heat sooner.

If you have your seat set back, it's very snug between the side of the seat and the B-pillar and you may have problems with an outside armrest. Check with some of the vendors.

Good to know, not terribly worried about dual arm rests but my right arm would be very pleased with an armrest. The door panel is adequate.

I have a suspicion that shipping won't be too much of a difference now vs later since they would probably be boxed separately.

Well, looks like the Delta Bags Covers are out since they aren't for XXL PIMPTHRONE

Note: Only fitting for scheel-man Vario, NOT for Vario XXL and Vario E.

If you can talk them into making covers for the Vario XXL, I'd be in for a set.

I'm going to order up some silly hanging scale from the amazon place. I'd love to be able to throw hard numbers at a few 80 series things I have knocking around.

I wonder if BMW Alpina make/model search for seat covers would get any of us anything useful?

LOL, yeah, I carried this thing with the Planted bracket attached for a few feet last week, I was not expecting that there would be much weight savings. That isn't the market of this seat. Seems that "race" seats are a thing of the past for Scheel...

If you have your seat set way back you'll also occasionally smoke the side of your head on the B pillar when you're on the trail. Ask me how I know ...

My kids have this issue with the windows when I get rowdy

You know we need details.
I didn’t really want to answer this at the time because it was just a few color swatches. Here is final product.
