Do you happen to know the legroom specs for both the 75 and 79?
In J75, I am 5.11 with some fat, and I get in easily. I like my seat to be tilted almost 95 degrees, so I'm lucky to gain some clicks back to gain legroom.
Also, this GCC truck has a tilted steering column; you will use it a lot in this truck.

In the J79, the only thing I feel I don't do compared to the J75 is not using the tilted steering column.

Not my truck and not my $, but if you're gonna build just to sell, why put $15000 of stuff on it and price it out of a much larger buying pool?

$40k is a lot more palletable to many.

It would sell faster and for the same margin.

He did not build it to sell it. He has 2 kids and a recent divorce and his ex would not let him pick his kids up in the truck because she deemed it unsafe.

There really is not much money to be made on importing these trucks for profit unless you buy junk trucks (which many many do) and don't do anything to them to make them better for the buyer.

I've bought in 12 now and turning them is not my business model.

Hello All, Just wanted to introduce myself as the new owner of this 75. Some of you might recognize me from the 60 forum or SAS. I’d been looking for a truck for a while and then this appeared… Wow. Nothing needed, a perfect build. I have the Dobinsons MRR shocks on my 60 and they are incredible. Huge thanks to @wngrog and @Meshal for getting this stateside and executing a great build. Looking forward to spending more time in this forum and designing some storage solutions for the bed. Once this truck is in my hands and taking it off road up here in New England.

we must have a Saudi squad!
I enjoyed it stock and after the build.. generous built, no doubt.
Hello Meshal, I’ve seen the picture you posted in another thread with the aluminum box set up in the back of a 75. Was this a custom fabrication or commercially available? I’ve also seen some tops that are available in your corner of the world. Would love to get some info if possible as I’d like to build out the bed for exploration but want something I can remove and not damage the stock configuration. Thanks in advance for the help.

The box is locally made. You can choose a water tank and boxes. Some people like to make it I-shaped and split it between a box on top and a water tank on the bottom, but if you have a bed with a spare, the design becomes L-shaped.
