That's A-Lot of work for new motor mounts James.

I saw a video, easy to do in that section, sounds like an already tough recovery made more difficult by modern automotive technology, that tells me all I need to know about the 250.

That is disappointing to hear about the lack of gratitude, hopefully just an oversight during the moment. I have only met and spoke to Ben briefly at Vendor night, Raffle, etc. at Cruise Moab, he seems like a solid guy and a little out of character from my brief interactions, in fact just after Marlin’s passing he told a couple of great stories of Marlin’s trial manners/generosity and trail lesson’s learned. Hopefully, he circles back with a Big Thanks and package of your favorite beverage for the assist!

Back to a SAS question and wheeling the San Juan’s:

Better experience wheeling an FJ40 or 80 Series?

I’ve always brought the 62 over the Shady80. I don’t prefer wheeling an automatic though. Something ‘bout that 5 speed. 😍

I’m bringing my 62 this year for family comfort otherwise 40 all the way. In fact, I feel like I’m cheating on my girl by not bringing her.
This is where I’m at, Ian. But the 40 is coming. To keep Mildred happy we made a new shop shirt 🤷‍♂️

Another item checked off.
New FPR installed.
Seems to really help but I did replace the silicone nipples from my desmog that all failed so...

I checked one item off of the list, too. The rear bumper is done and now that I have taillights again I have been driving it 60 miles to and from work a few days this week. All good so far!

The soft top door surrounds are ready for paint and I am waiting for the side brackets from Bestop. We had a little delay there.

I am getting really excited!

Man, you'd dent the earth with that cage. Mad skills! Keep the rubber down.

I’d wager it’s a combination of a low snow year coupled with ensuring good tourism optics which are helping move this along quicker.
Ouray doesn't mess around clearing the roads. I'm shocked it took this long . Wish telluiride was the same. I haven't seen any info about the back side of imogene ..
