Well, we have made it about 1/2 way home. Hoteling it in Ely, Nv. And as always we had a super time. These pictures make it seem as if Maureen had an even better time than I…not so tho!

Thanks to all for another well run event.👍

Another great year at SAS. Glad the wife was able to join me and little dude this time. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work in making it another successful year.

We hit DFW last night at midnight. Long haul. Great to visit with you all. We had a a great time. Thanks for the patience on the trail as the boys got their wings. They are over the moon. 2000 miles of seat time in 40s. Mighty proud. Glad to make some new friends and deepen relationships with those we knew already!! @landcrusher909, thanks for imparting trail advice and more to the boys. They have a Yoda. Mediclurin is high in Tatooin. Next generation is coming along well. Loved the camp fire chats!!! Special thanks to Chicken. He carried my trail anxieties well on his face wrinkles.

We finally made it home!
1700 mile loop.
We had a great time in Ouray Colorado.
Met some great people and enjoyed their company.
Thank you @POTATO LAUNCHER and the crew who set this up. And great too have met you Casey!
Thank you too @CruiserTrash for saving me and getting me home with a new Fuel pump you had.
Also thank you to @JohnMcVicker for the use of your FIPG sealer for my fuel pump.
Great meeting you @ceylonfj40nut and Family.
You where great neighbors. 😂
And all the other great people I met at SAS#6.
Hope too see you all again next year!
For SAS#7.

As if Kansas wasn’t bad enough to drive through, today it’s 105 F and a car kicked up a rock and cracked my windscreen. No trail damage all week and then this bull.

Dang man, this is the third one I know of. @fl4031003 and me both caught some serious hits.

@John McVicker, currently working on your linkage problem. What all do you need exactly? 86 - 87 is a pretty hard find. Do you need the input and detent slider as well?
Must give credit where credit is due.👍👍👍. @DangerNoodle , DJ, David…really stepped up & gave me a huge helping hand when one was really needed. W/o prompting from me…or really anyone, he found the parts that I needed to fix my T Case…AND offered to meet me @ Proffitts Cruisers on 7/31/2022 on SUNDAY morning @ 7:30 am.

For those not familiar with @DangerNoodle, I have included a few pictures of his 40 while at play…& a few pictures of him at work on my 60.

Thank you David, much, much appreciated.🎯

The part that broke on my T Case while out wheeling at home 8 days before I was to leave for SAS6. On the red box you can see the part that he formed & later welded on to the broken shaft.

Lesson learned: Sydney Gulch may be a loop, but I highly suggest running it to the mine and heading back to Governors. None of us want to repeat that second half ever again.
I thought Sidney Basin was sweet, but ran it myself on the other hand. Not very technical, agreee to a little narrow off camber shelf road. Ran it clock wise
