Gonna be fun, just to confirm where are we all planning on meeting? At PP, the small lot next to it or the train station lot?

Thanks for all who showed up. We had Great Success.

Wish I could have made it! Will next time for sure.
Any pics of all the rigs?
:steer:

Nice. I just ran across this (yeah, a little late), but that is awesome. Nicely done by Noah to get the ball rolling on this. How many showed up for the get together at PP last night?

And how much beer did you help throw down that night?... oh, that's right you did not show up.

I am selfish and didnt want to share! :D

Is this group still active? I'd love to get involved with some local Cruiserheads...

I don't know if this counts but the San Diego TLCA Chapter, Beach & Toys meets at Mike's BBQ in Escondido the first Tuesday of every month. Maybe that could work as a get together as well.

Any interest in getting together still? I'd like to get together for a meet & greet and potentially organize a trip. I went out to Ocotillo last week and had a great time, but realized being alone in the middle of nowhere probably isn't the best idea!!! I'd also like to make a plug for stewardship and spend a little time cleaning up a bit around the area East of Split Mountain Road and South of the train tracks where everyone shoots. I went shooting there and took a couple full trash bags out with me, but barely made a dent in the amount of crap people have left out there. As one of the last open range shooting spots around, I'd hate to see it get shut down over that! I'll be traveling out of town in a week, but will be back by the middle of August. I was thinking of meeting up around then and planning a trip later in the year when things cool down a bit? Let me know what you all think.

BrandonP - sad to hear about the trash. The American Adventurist crew at Desert Rendezvous just collected and had hauled out with the cooperation of BLM a few tons, yes tons, of trash from that same area a few months ago.
