Hey guys, it’s that time again. Recently picked up a 99 Atlantis Blue Mica / grey interior with 206k mi. I'd been browsing Facebook marketplace for months searching for a decent candidate. It makes me sad how rough the majority of them are these days. the plan with this one is to keep it semi comfortable for road driving. baselining and 33's on tundra steelies. i might respray some parts like the front end to freshen it up, door moulding and rear bumper. redo the front seats and arm rest, and just cruise! projects like this quickly get out of hand.

SIDENOTE: I also want to cut it up and run 37s but that wouldn't be practical.

This is the list in no particular order that i've done so far.

Removed the flares, and the tint the first night. It still has the crusty areas on the fenders and quarters from the flares.

The blue changes colors which is dope.

Damn window motor connector was wrong! Had to modify it. Lx to LC doesn’t work because of the automatic windows.

Wow! Man, that blue one looks great! Love the steel wheels too. Well done!

How’s it ride with the 33 falkens and steelies? I’m thinking of getting a set for mine — love the look.

Blue was our first choice. Went and saw one but couldn't get any maintenance details, so we passed and ended up with a white one.

The owner called later and told us the vehicle's history and we missed on a good one.

That blue is phenomenal, you have a gorgeous vehicle and I'm glad that it's getting the love it deserves! Mine's in the Imperial Jade Mica, and I love both colors; if was to have mine repainted it'd be a toss between one or the other.

The rack and pinion was shifting side to side with the blown bushings and upper control arms. Now it feels nice and tight. Much better.

Can you explain what you mean here by "shifting side to side"? Is this when you're in a straight line and the vehicle moves side-to-side without your steering input?

Pics to match! Ignore the scratches, she goes off-roading every now and then lol
