Some more interior and a good reason to re-do 50 year old seats.

If anyone's interested, Foxfab and I did a step-by-step seat recovering post in the FJ25 Forum.

Great job and nice cruiser. Good to see some stock cruisers still out there and a 25 at that!
Thanks, Trollhole.
And thanks Magoo, lunyou, 74fj40, Mace, FJ40onNOS, Foxfab and CruiserNerd. That's appreciated coming from MUD vets like you guys. :)

that thing is beautiful... still not the same as first love, but close ;)

Very Nice!

They sure did a nice job with the paint. Looks great in every shot, inside and out.

Good luck with the brakes,

Keith

I've always had a soft spot for the original. Nice cruiser!

Thanks, Ige. The first love is what you remember of it (if you got any brain cells left). But yeah, this is my new love. ;)

wow what a nice ride. and its awsome that you did most or all yourself.
i really dig the then and now shot, with the same pose and all. where was the then shot taken? kinda looks like maybe arcadia area.

Rhino - just realized you're in AZ. Nope, not Arcadia. 68th St. & Hubbell to be exact. :)

Oh, my...

I must say, I really like how it all turned out. I think I need to get to polishin my knobs as well. But I don't think that the steelwool would do the job on mine, they're a little more rough.

The underseat is nice and the framework as well. That is the first 25 I've seen with a full open door sil area like that. I always thought they came like the one in your before pic. And is that really the wiper switch? Too friggin cool.

My bud's bringin his 25 out from Cali next month and he wants 3500 for it. I may have to take it off his hands. They are way cool.

Oh and what is that emblem on the front of it in the after pic?

Nice!! Very sweet rig!!

Hey, Hawk. The factory soft-top 25s came with the rounded style door openings and the hardtop models had the squared off style, which led the way for the FJ40 tub style.

The standard FJ25 emblem (upside-down T-bird) was missing when I bought this one, so I temporarily covered the mounting holes with a TOYOTA emblem from an old Corona until I got a repro T-bird made by Gene De Felicis (aka Land Cruiser Junky on MUD).
