Man, those offroad shots are awesome. That's the kind of offroading I want to be doing. Nice ride!!

Larry, if you ever come west of the mountains, give me a hollar, would love to tag along...

I bought the seats on Ebay and thought I could cover the BO stuff with a TLCA patch or something, but the seats were poor quality and have began to seperate so I bought some suspension seats and put them in last saturday, much better, Larry

I actually get there quite often my daughter lives in Bozeman and some of my favorite trails are near missoula in the Rock Creek drainage like the road up Brewster Creek over to Phillipsburg and on to upper willow creek, cheers, larry

Very impressed... You give my hope for my rust bucket. I would love to know what you started with, since there is no booklet on restorations. I guess its all trial and error and error. Love your rig!

I actually towed this cruiser home, the guy that had it had a trailer court in Cooke City MT and he used it to take visitors to the lakes around there to fish, I put a lift and disc brakes on it for him and he used it one more year and sold the place so he called me and asked if I wanted it, so I took it on but I knew it was worse than I would buy, the motor was tired, the rear end must have been sitting in a creek, the rear brakes were siezed and would not operate, it leaked every where, had about 50 pounds of bondo on it, the tires were shot in the front, he bent the tie rod and drove it that way, the front stock bumper was toast, lot's of the floor board was holes they used carpet in there and rusted out a lot of it, the fenders were shot and it had a few electrical problems. other than that it was a great cruiser, so I have been working on it about 2 years to get it to here, about average for me to do a build up, I usually find some pictures of other rigs that I like and put them up in the garage so I keep in mind what the goal is and that it's doable, helps me a lot, I also have made a list of what I want to do and what the likely order is so I see one smaller job at a time. it dosen't mean it won't change, had I known how much I would spend on the SM420 swap and a rebuilt transfer case, I would have gone with the 4 speed and the Orion case, hind site is always 20/20, cheers, Larry
