The top sides had some kind of sticky funk on them but the CLR cut through it. They polished up nicely. More reflector porn. These are new OEM. This 1969 takes 4. I think he provided 32.

Were all the vinyl pads the white diamond material?Early boards had a base with an upper rubber/vinyl pad and an upper outer ring to secure the pad. In October 1969 the pad and ring were dropped. The board then had a lower frame with a one piece metal upper plate. In September of 1973 the board became a one piece stamping.

Apparently OEM pads were not usedTook the Yokos and City Racer wheels to my guy today since the weather is good. Supposed to rain the rest of the week.

Next I start the long crappy job of rebuilding both axles with 3.70 gears, disc brakes and 10mm brake lines.
