It's a generational thing - Ok Boomer
Since this is kind of my story thread and I listed my previous trucks in the first post you may have noticed I have owned four generations of Land Cruisers and still own two of them
Owning many different kinds of vehicles I have seemed to zero in on two models; the Land Cruiser and BMW Z4's. Two vehicles that couldn't be any farther apart from each other. Together they provide all the options you could want. The Land Cruiser is tough, reliable and can take me anywhere I want to go. The Z4 is fast, sporty, convertible and gets over 30MPG for commuting to work.
Four Generations of Land Cruisers
FJ40's I have owned three and currently have a 1973
80 series, great vehicle and did the Rubicon without a sweat. Me on the other hand, I sweated a few times

100 series - Great vehicle with V8 power. Took me through the Maze
200 series- My favorite so far and has done everything I have asked it to
Three generations of BMW Z4's
E85 - Fun but sparse in features
E89 - I owned two, a 2009 and then a 2011 with the infotainment system
G29 - The best yet. State of the art technology while also feeling like luxury
I guess I am dialed in on what to drive. When I walk in the garage its a choice between the FJ40, 200 series or G29 Z4
1997 80 series and 2003 BMW Z4
