Hi All:

What an incredible build thread!

I read this thread over several days! It is unimaginable how many hours of labor and how much $$ you have put into this rig!! A truly impressive effort!

Thanks for all you put into these posts, Mr. QTipp! For all the effort you put into the rig, you also spent a lot of time keeping this thread going over the months!:beer:

Regards,

Alan

Thanks for compliments

Its been a lot more labor than money.

Most expenditures have been off set from the sale of old parts

Decided to relocate ram assist

Built up the left side steering arm earlier in build when I made the six stood knuckle.

Looks like that will be the location

I know this position for the ram it's making the job anycase .. but aren't pushing more effort in one knuckle a little more than the other . .. ?

I'm tjinking on it .. it's like to drag links on front and the tie rod alone in the back. .. maybe not .. just wondering ..

Did you use rtv in between the rear axle flange and the hub ? I'd remove it if you did and clean it nice and dry then use just a dry gasket . The studs are small and will shear with the rotational lubrication of the rtv . I sheared a few off before learning that one . I guess you could always try it and see . Build looks good . Can't wait to see some action shots . What's your time frame from this point ?

I never heard of possible shear issues with the rotational lubrication of the RTV. Thanks for the heads up.

I am an RTV junkie. I use RTV on everything. Maybe its time to rethink it.

I am using ARP studs.. We will see

I hoping I should be done in 2 or 3 weeks.

Lots of small stuff at this point and everyone of them are killing me.
