Thanks for the info. Glad to be wrong. They sure make it look like they change the price by putting US$ by all the prices.

are there any recovery brackets available stateside?

I had to get a refund from paypal after my order or URB's never came.

Not that I've seen. The URBs were really the only option for a while and now that seems to be very hit or miss after Druiser was sold. That's why I ended up going with these from Australia. As I recall, if you check on ebay.com.au there's at least 1 or 2 other styles being sold, with one that looks pretty similar to the URB design for something like $100AUD + whatever shipping to the US is.

Thanks for the pointer to these. I had some old Duiser URBs, but they weren't tall enough to clear the ARB "box", and I wasn't real comfortable with the factory hardware.

It took me a couple of tries to order these, as I about choked on the Australian $, and had to go verify that it wasn't showing a US $ price. The package arrived surprisingly quickly from Australia.

Interestingly enough, I had a similar experience installing these on my son's TLC. I couldn't get them to line up and fit in the ARB "box". Took a break. Tried again, and they fit right into place (just barely) and the bolts slid right in. I don't know if I was trying to put the "right" on the "left" or what, but a little break and some caffeine seemed to do the trick.

HD front recovery points

any reason these won't work for us 100 series owners?

From my experience, those wouldn't fit in the ARB "box" on an ARB Deluxe bumper (2003+). It might work on vehicles with a factory bumper or other aftermarket bumper(s), but the shape and location of the factory holes (not at the very end of the frame) might be an issue according to this:
Front Recovery Points

(See post #2 in this thread to see how the ARB "box" complicates the issue)

I ordered these to avoid spacers just got them yesterday man they are big!

going to order these soon

Any reason Trail Tailor’s recovery points won’t work? They’re super beefy, seem to be more compact than these, he’s in the US and they’ll be cheaper shipped, even powder coated. And, he’s a vendor and supporter of this site.

I love supporting our vendors and love TT he is a superb guy have bought stuff from him and highly recommend him to everyone I know. I just didn't want to deal with spacers I have the ARB bumper which has a box that forces the use of spacers if I had to use his tow points. These fit right into the ARB bumper box with no spacers.

I bought the trail tailor recovery points and I found that I had to order the spacers as well, so the points would sit proud of the ARB box. $195 for points and spacers + shipping. Like supporting US businesses.

That make total sense. Is it just the arb that requires spacers?

the powder coat on these is falling off after less than a year. Anyone else have this issue?

bumping a real old thread here.

For those of you that installed these RoadSafe recovery points with an ARB bumper, were you able to use the supplied bolts or did you have to buy longer ones?

Supplied bolts seemed to work fine for me...
