Hey all - very interested in this thread - not to muddy the water but there looks to be a 10" version available (might work better in an LX) - anyone try/know of this variant?

Amazon product ASIN B0BGNTTX4T
What separates RT from all others like this one is the dual Bluetooth. This one you either use six or FM, not to mention the terrible logo!

Can anyone answer if the RT does screen mirroring for Android?

TY, appreciate it! Yeah, the logo would totally need to go! Mutipoint BT is not huge for me (I don't think, maybe I'm mis understanding?) - my use case would be analog 3.3mm aux out of the device for music play. I'd like to keep the native BT phone connection as it works so well, but understand that the ONLY connection from phone to the unit is BT.

Can someone please upload the latest firmware for the V2 unit that includes saving the day/night setting.

Also, is it possible to get the unit to change the map day/night in Android Auto automatically? Or do I have to always manually set day/night.

They have sent quite a few firmware updates, but none of them have auto day/night switching. I just turn down the brightness. Also the microphone is terrible so forget siri unless you scream at it. It only hears 30%

Is the most recent firmware update available on this thread?

This is how I have mine hooked up, as I couldn't get the car Bluetooth phone mic to work with my Android phone and Android auto.

Has anyone hardwired one of these for power? I’m installing a fuseblock this week and wondering if this could be wired to one of the terminals on that.
Yeah I just had an auto sound place do it and added a switch

Hi I was just wondering if anyone here wired up there rear view camera that came with the road top. The 2 red wires one goes to the rear light? Where does the other one connect too?

Road Top is on sale today. Anyone know the difference? I guess one is just the newer version??

Edit: Their site descriptions are exactly the same....same pics, same features, same screen resolution. The $219 version on Amazon has the exact same heading as the more expensive one on their site. Hmmm.

Mine arrived (black friday sale) now "temp" install. Analog out (not BT). I am amazed at this functionality thus far. I'm not 100% sold on mounting to dash top, but instead looking at "floating" the unit (I'll have to fashion a bracket to allow the unit to pivot up for occasional access to factory screen) over the factory screen (kinda like how the 2023 Range Rover is configured). I'd also think a larger screen size would be ideal - I've asked Road Top (Ms Sarah) if there is such a unit with IDENTICAL functionality.

For you all NOT on unlimited data plans, I did note that driving (using waze) does appear to consume more data (maybe as more detail/data on the road top display).

Did you get the $219 or the $239 one? The $219 is now $299, but the other is still $239. I need to make a decision quick….like today I guess.

This is the one ordered (@$219) Amazon product ASIN B09P8C5V26
Apologies, but I just have no idea if the one you re seeing at $239 is identical. The return period runs until 30 Jan 2023 so you can always return if not happy.

Thanks. Yeah, that one is $299 now. I need to grab one, but might wait until the next sale. 😭
