Don't be fooled, we have a Winter in Southern Georgia but I don't know if it's worth changing tires for that one week.

Top. Every day of the week. I'm yet to see a 79 with steelies in aus that's privately owned, some corporate companies run steelies but you would be back to front and upside down over here in the main if the steelies were your first choice.

In saying all of that, it's your truck, put what you personally like best on it.

If I had the patience, money and space for multiple sets, I would have a set of steelies and alloys.

I would love an OEM looking set of 16x8" steels in the OWM colour. They just look so good, but with all the top weight with the Hercules roof it just felt so unstable.

I love the -20 16x8 Evo Corse with the muddies too!

Actually, I thought I preferred the gray steelies, but the alloys are growing on me. They both look great and complement the truck.

It's got that "farm truck" look but I like it. I might as well sell my Ute along with its ugly rims.
