My 1997 FZJ80 is running perfectly. It has been since it's last visit to the dealer tech for HG replacement and valve job.

I did get quite alot of good info from the Muds here along with a good amount of ball busting, some of which was deserved.

I owe the intitial diagnosis to IdahoDoug.

Anyway, just wanted to post an out of the norm - "My cruiser is running great thread" All those who are also running problem free please post.

Glad to hear it's running well

    John,

I'm glad to hear you got your rig running right. I think we all have been flamed at some time here, (I know I have) but that's OK.

What are you going to do with it next? Got any mods lined up?

I'd be afraid to post how great mine is running. Seems like whenever I do something like that, that's when it breaks down.

Man...that is like calling shutout in the Stanley Cup final in a 0-0 game... lets just say i seem to be going every where I need to without any unscheduled stops.

Huh? In a shut out game someone has to remain scoreless. A shutout is far more likely to occur in a 0-0 game than in a 1-1 game.

Which game? There are 7 games. Is it a home game? What is the current series score?

Game 5 If my team was at home with a 4 game lead I would call it.

Game 7 series tied 3-3 its nil nil and you just said(the hypothetical you...not you specifically) your goalie is going to get a shutout....you would be maimed for speaking the word.

    Thus I won't say my cruiser....well you know:cheers:

I don't want to curse myself, but both of mine have been quite happy.

The grey one pulled out a 14 wheel semi from a snow drift this evening. Right after a full size Dodge 4x4 failed to do it. The truck driver was in awe and said, "That full size Dodge couldn't budge me, but you pulled me right out!" He was eager to shake my hand.

I did cheat a bit. I used my ARB snatch strap and just enough slack to have it touch the ground. The Dodge had used a tow strap with no slack.

    Now about that other thread...
