Congrats to everyone who is getting their bumpers. It seems that I have to wait a little longer. I'm now submitting another form. This time it is an HS7, which seems to be mostly for importing vehicles but includes vehicle parts especially bumpers.

Look what arrived last night.

All,
Just joined this group because my rig is a 2008 LC200. The bumper looks Sick.....
Anybody else want to start a group buy? If not, I will buy one on my own but need to know who to email or call. I am in California.

More pics of the entire bumper installed if you guys have it.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Tony

hey Tony, send me a message and I’ll get you connected.

Had to submit a customs form to FedEx because the winch originated in Wuhan (China). o_O

Thanks, The Warn and Comeup both fit in the Rhino bumper, both are great winches. I recommended the Comeup seal gen2 12.5rs for @gzahnd because the solenoid is "shorter" than the Warn Zeon 12-S Platinum. This came up in conversation because he is considering the 30" Light bar modification for Heritage Edition grille. The Warn solenoid will interfere with the light bar and thus create a major PITA and added expense to relocate the solenoid to another area. In my case, customer wanted the Warn, so I relocated it under the ARB twin air compressor (see photo below).

@Eric Sarjeant I got the Comeup seal gen2 12.5rs and this Rhino bumper. Do you have any pics on where/how you mounted the solenoid for it behind the grill? Anyone done this setup?

Edit: I think I figured it out. Now I know what those two retainer clamp rings are for.

This is a photo from Eric Sarjeant, so he’ll have details. I have the same setup, but won’t be building for several weeks.

The solenoid should fit with the Comeup. No need to relocate it.

Oh damn these things look sweet. Like the hidden light bar option too. I wonder what fog light options fit in it.

So when is the next group buy and how much are these things?

You can order your own directly from Rhino. $2200 USD or so depending on options.

Having mine painted now ($550 for the wings.) The owner was telling me that since it’s metal the chance of rocks taking chips out of it skyrockets so I’m planning on putting a clear bra over it. Anyone else do that?

Is the entire bumper metal/steel besides the middle part cut out for winch? THX

Got the bumper finally installed. For those doing paint, make sure and unwrap all your parts. I assumed only the wings needed paint. After getting them back from being painted, I unwrapped another part which was the center top piece and it was white! I figured it would be black like the winch cradle and lower middle. That set me back a few days. I had four paint quotes from $400-$1800. I settled on the lower end and it's not a perfect match but I really don't care and it sets the bumper apart. I need to get PPF applied.

My truck has the OEM suspension. The added weight includes ARB dual compressor, aux battery, Comeup Seal Gen 2 12.5 winch and this bumper. I will most likely add OME BP-51 as the next upgrade, after getting my Bud Built sliders delivered/installed. I don't know if I will keep the light bar on or not. I'm going with a light bar on the factory rack - also waiting for that to be delivered.

I'll share more photos of the install later and some tips. Missing some bolts and specialty nuts so have not installed the lower skid plate. Have reached out to Rhino 4x4.

That bumper looks great......Paint also matches well from your pics.

Correct me on how the bumper is built. it comes in 3 pieces? mounts up to stock locations?

Looks awesome, I didn’t know about the extra piece thank you for mentioning it! Can I ask, do you notice the extra weight driving?

What are you missing? Stuff that should have come with the bumper?

I'm afraid that may happen to me next week when I start the installation at a shop.

There are two wings, a winch cradle, 2 mid sections, a few different brackets, yes they mount up to stock locations. 2 skid plates.
