One side done, now onto the next. It’s not perfect but I’m learning as I go. I’ll pull the tires and hit the other side of the seams as well. Interior will get raptor lined as well as the exterior wheel wells.

More fender progress. Pulled the cluster. Cleaning up some excess wiring and dealing with the amp meter wires.

Anyone know if I can replace the cluster lights with LED?

There are one or several threads; the key is finding a smaller LED bulb. Typical LED replacement for that bulb is taller than fits well as I recall (and have experienced with courtesy light fixtures on other cars)

Yes seems to me there are threads with the exact bulb #. LED's are a lot brighter and some don't dim well - a filament glow is voltage dependent, an LED just winks off if voltage get to low, plus they don't work with reversed polarity

This might be the bulb I saved as a bookmark. You might have to re work the base to fit cluster socket.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll keep looking into it. Mine have the two catches that you push in then twist. Super old school.

I cant believe how expensive these heater cores are. Does anyone rebuild these things anymore?

67’ was the last year of this style i believe. It has brackets for screws that attach it to the case. Not sure if the newer ones are the same size or not.

Rear heater is next. Waiting on a rock auto heater core for the front and some blasting media to clean up the case.

Got the grill cleaned up and pulled my original front seats out of storage. Not sure if i’ll put them back in. Currently I’m running some 90’s Subaru seats up front.

Not the original color. The front seats were 80/20. The passenger side has a folding back as well as the drivers side. Im currently using the passenger side as the base for the passenger subaru seat.

It gets blasted on the 28th or so. Then its getting painted back to its OG color.

Mobile, at my buddies shop. Then we’ll push it into the paint booth. I spent so much $$$ on gaskets for the windows and doors its crazy.
