Yeah, I really like that pass. side header. I'm having a problem with that, too. Mine goes down under the oilpan, but I didn't use the v band clamps on the headers, good call.

Just polish the Stainless. It'll be so SMOOTH the heat won't stick .

Been wondering about this idler pulley lately. Something could be done there - personally, I’d like to find a way to utilize it for OBA, like some kind of AC compressor

Not sure. It’s been so damn long I’d have to look. I know we’ve got the motor as high as we could. It’s pretty tight under the hood.
