Don't tempt me! Bob Garret down in Dallas has spoken highly of his Supercharger! I'll probably just work on the 97 40th next, or maybe the FJ40, or the FJ55....

Was your 1FZ-FE decal there before the build or did you add afterwards? Also, did you get it OEM from Toyota or aftermarket source?

Nice build.

Added it afterwards for the cool to me factor. Got the part number from some bozo on the Interwebs, he had a whole long list of stuff that we bought. It is factory along with 2k worth of other parts that TOD and a local dealer provided for me! PS thanks for the list!

Glad the bozo was at least useful for something.

Me, typing too much?!?!

After finally having enough blood to sell to retrieve the fridge from pawn, then an all out hunt for the perfect sized box that doesn't result a violated feeling leaving the FedEx Ground counter, dizzy spells wrapping and wrapping abd wrapping tape and bubble wrap, it's en route.

Going to need a new box knife to extract.

FYI: The tape that comes in a "50 Shades" fun kit, isn't suitable for packaging, as explained at the FedEx counter.

He was not nearly as amused as I and spoiled the fun by requiring removal.

Bahahaha.

I could only imagine the looks!

OK, another quick tip. If you pull the motor for a rebuild and plan (or don't plan) to take as long as I did, put the hood back I. To protect under hood components from UV damage. I have had three heater hoses start leaking on the sardine can clamp ends. Plus the heater valve failed. The heater valve was obviously sun damages. Of course we so get into the 100's on a regular basis during the summer(and spring and fall).

First full tank through it and got just a bit under 14 with mixed city and highway mainly city. I did change the timing from being to far advanced so the next tank may be better. Did a spreadsheet and it will cost under $2.00 a day extra to drive it.WORTH IT!!!

Update: Just over 10k on it since the rebuild and averaging right at 14 or just a bit over. Put an ARB bumper on and an OME lift on and got it up where it belongs.
