Thanks, Ryan. I think you’ve been with us since day one.
If it wasn't the very beginning it wasn't too long after, it's pretty amazing how far that 40 has come.

The project took on a life of its own. Any word from Chungas?
I haven't heard anything from him in about 4 years now, I do know he had some pretty rough personal issues going on.

I used to keep an eye on the CL out there in Morgantown to see if his 40 ever popped up for sale.

That sucks. Hopefully he’s doing well and enjoying the 40.

Worked on the windshield frame this afternoon. Who knew that 1/16” rubber throws the hinges just off enough to make the bolts on the side not fit. The purple (plastic?) painters tape is just enough to keep the pint from rubbing.

I love this build. I hope you are still enjoying the journy.
Thank you. It gets frustrating at times but now that the pieces are falling into place and we can see the results of the planning and labor, I am really happy with the 40. I started it up yesterday and let it run for awhile. It’s going to be a nice day when we get to pull out of the shop and take it for a spin.

Hopefully a nice spring day.

That 68 is getting too much love, the 72 is feeling neglected.

It’s still creeping forward. Posting about adjusting wiring paths or cleaning paint off of ground locations haven’t been worth the time.

We have to do final assembly and glass in the hardtop, front doors, assemble the rebuilt seats and then should be able to take it up the driveway to see what else is needed.
